My dearest Sarah

I have long believed that those who have the ability to generate enough self motivation to keep going, regardless of whether anyone notices, will always be successful in business. Your passion and belief for what you do will always carry you onwards regardless of others lack of ability to pass on a bit of praise.

Keep going, and if you need a bit of a pat on the back you can do one of two things: either go to the person concerned and ask for the praise (that way they will learn that it's something that helps!) or give me a call and say "Jules I need some good words from you" and I will stay on the phone as long as you want. :-)
Always here for you.
Jules

Hi Jules
I always praise staff and try to find different ways-random thanks as well-i have also sent them e-cards on different occaisions so they get praise when least expected (as in when I'm probably not there)
i have found this goes down well :)
I know exactly where you are coming from-i am constantly doing more and more (because i want to help the company get where i know it can be) and never get praised and although I'm good at motivating myself must admit at the minute i am struggling through lack of recognition for my input-not even a well done i just need recognition of how much work i habe done. To top it all I actually got thanked twice the other week for something-the one and only time i have been thanked-and i hadnt actually done the work!!! That was actually very demoralising!!!

everything aside-you are looking so healthy Jules-well done
