April 24th 2010 9:32pmI love looking at your site Jules. You always make so much sense. You make it seem so clear and simple. I think what you say would certainly prevent alot of things building up within teams and save everyone a lot of time. Sometimes if behaviour is not confronted then you can spend your time thinking about reasons yourself which could be way off the mark and change the way you actually deal with that member or members of staff, and then the situation continues to build into something quite large.
although it can be difficult to speak to staff behaving like this-sometimes the actual shock that you are prepared to confront can mean they will actually speak and start to discuss the problem and how it could be sorted out together.
