January 9th 2010 1:03pmI’ve heard of places that have a desktop gong, which is rung in place of a celebration dance, and company that uses silent shouts (I presume it’s just a lot of fist-waving!) so other developers aren’t disturbed.
We’re a bit less original, though – we go to the pub for lunch!

If everyone at least gave some thought to how they could celebrate their successes then I suspect many workplaces would be a great deal nicer places to spend 35 hours or more a week!
